Week 3!

I will be taking this week off form the shopping! After being sick and doing alot of make your own dinners this past week I have a fridge and pantry with plenty of items for this weeks dinners! I will probably go out and get some Eggs, Bacon, bagels and cream cheese and a few other small things but not a whole weeks worth!

So let do an experiment! I want to challenge all of you to do a week on $50!! Can you do it?!?!? I KNOW you can so go out shopping and come back and share your shopping list and recipes with us!! So the Meals we had for the Week are:

Pizza again (our new favorite)

Tuesday:
Cereal
Roll-ups
Spaghetti

Wednesday:
Bagels

Taco's

Thursday:
Toast
Pizza (we cant get enough of it yum!)
Chicken and rice

We mixed things up a bit and that happens!! Sometimes you just don't feel like cooking what was planned and that's okay!


Tomorrow I will take another shopping trip and try to keep it under 1 bag even if I have to re-arrange a few time!! LOL!


This time I will be posting the list of meals and recipes so you can just cook-it what day you feel like! Easy Peasy!! Makes enjoying the little things in life easier!!

Sunday and Mondays Meals!

Sunday!

The kids had Bagels for Breakfast!

We had breakfast for Lunch! Biscuits, eggs with ham and cheese, and Bacon YUM YUM!

For Dinner we had Sandwiches.

Cereal for Breakfast!

Make your own pizzas for dinner Again!! LOL! It has become my new favorite dinner!!!

Saturday's Meals!

For Breakfast we had Bagels with cream cheese YUM!!!

Recipe
Ingredients:
Bagel
Cream cheese

Directions:
Toast in toaster, spread with cream cheese eat! Gotta love the simple things in life right?!?!?

For lunch we went out (SHHH DON'T TELL!!!) It was my birthday so we took the kids to chick-fil-la for lunch so they could play after going to Kids Day at Green Tree Mall!
Recipe:
Get in your car and high-tail it to the nearest Chick-fil-la! Order food eat and play!! Another simple one YAY!! (Only go out to eat if your budget allows!)

For Dinner we are Having Make your own Pizza!!! Check out later for pics of us making pizza!

Recipe
Ingredients:
Pizza dough mix prepared
Pizza sauce
pizza toppings of your choice
Mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Roll out everyone there own pizza out of dough and let them make it however they want!! Bake according to directions on package! YUM YUM!

1 bag 1 week!

Week One!

Shopping List:
2 can of your favorite soup
3lbs of hamburger
Bagels
Bacon
Hot dogs
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Shredded mozzarella Cheese
Pepperoni
Taco Seasoning
Tortillas
1 box Spaghetti noodles
1 box Macaroni and cheese
1 jar spaghetti sauce
Jelly
Sour cream
1 can corn
Pineapples
2 loafs of bread
1 pack hamburger buns
Pizza sauce
BBQ sauce
Pizza crust mix
Cereal
Bag frozen Chicken


Meals to be made:
Breakfast:
Cereal
Bagels
Bacon egg and cheese biscuits
pancakes and eggs

Lunch:
PB&J Sandwiches
Wraps
Hot dogs and mac
Cheese Sandwiches

Dinner:
Spaghetti with garlic bread
Meatloaf
Pizza
Soup and sandwiches
Breakfast
Chicken Tacos
Hamburgers and Hot dogs with fries

Things I already had on hand so didnt have to buy:
Cereal
butter
grapes
strawberries
eggs
milk
salad
crackers
spanish rice (which only cost about $1 at aldi's)

Here is my shopping trip! I still have to pick up a bag of frozen Chicken and a pack of buns but everything fits in this bag. With the buns and chicken it will REALLY be overflowing but hey it still fits right?! LOL! I bought everything at Aldi’s with the exception of the Pizza crust mix, pizza sauce and BBQ sauce (because I really like sweet baby rays raspberry chipolte) which I got at Walmart because I had to get diapers anyway.

Once I buy the Chicken and Buns I will have spent $49.28 on a weeks worth of grocery’s! With-in our new plan to spend $50 a week on grocerys!! YAY!
