Can a stay at home go on strike? Don't you ever have those days where you feel like your kids are your boss and you just want to say "I'm on strike!" Who knew a 1 and 2 year old could be so demanding?! They think we are at there becon call and supposed to jump when they want something! "MOM JUICE!", "MOM MILK!", "MOM HUNGRY!" "MOM MOM MOM MOM"! Being a Stay at home mom is a job. You spend most of your time in your house with kids who's conversations consist of Sesame street, finding, nemo, cars, and we'll with the 1 year old Blah be boo gee which I have no idea what means. No more talk of things going on in the world or the latest Hollywood gossip!

I have visions in my head of walking outside my apartment with a sign that say's "Stay at home mom on strike" while I chant "No more milk, no more juice, this mommas on strike and I refuse!" I can see people peeking through there windows now wondering if I need to be commited!! The funny thing is the kids owuld LOVE it! They would just think they are playing a game! Following me around in a circle Aiden repeating after me, and Alaina saying "Da...da... DADA" (her favorite song). To which would just make me laugh! Then the being mad would be gone in an instant!

So as I mom I can't go on strike and sick days do not exist! It has to be the most rewarding job ever! You may not get recognized by the big bosses for coming up with some great idea to help the company, but you get recognized! When your little one give you a hug and says "I love you mom" or plays good with his little sister (something you have been working on), or you go to the grocery store and got a killer deal shaving the grocery budget this month! I have bad days but in the end this is a job I can see myself doing for the rest of my life! This is one job where you really can make a difference in someon's life and how you do your job will have an effect on who these little people turn out to be! Mom's Changing the world one kid at a time!
