Semi-Homemade Christmas Project #1!

Christmas Organizer!

Staying organized will keep you sane his year! Keep you within your budget and make for a less stressful holiday season! Lets face it between all the stuff we have going on around the Holidays we all welcome the chance for less stress!

You can use any notebook you have around the house or buy an inexpensive one from the store. I have one with a pocket in front that I will use for receipts on anything I buy that may need be returned.

Separate into 5 sections (more or less for your needs). For tabs I used blank labels I had lying around. Decide how many pages you want for each section. I have put a November and December at a glance calendar in the front as we'll just for reference reason!

Section 1: Holiday Cards

I use this section to keep track of those I need to send a Holiday cards too, and then check them off once the card is sent. I also use it to track cards I receive so if I want to add to my send list it is all together.

Section 2: Holiday Baking

I use this section to list what I plan on baking this year as we'll as ingredients for each recipe so I can look at all recipes together and make my shopping list. I also have the recipes listed in here.

Section 3: Gifts

I use this section to list everyone I need to buy a gift for as we'll as ideas on what to make them (as this year we are doing all homemade gifts). Then what there gift is once I have it done. If you don't have a notebook with a pocket I suggest putting one her by gluing two pieces together to keep track of your receipts. Also use it to keep track of my budget.

Section 4: Decorating

I use this sections for ideas for decorating and things I plan to buy (if I plan to buy any). I will staple or tape ideas I see online or magazines on this section. Also for budgeting, set a budget and do not go over it.

Section 5: Notes

I use this for anything that comes up. On the first two pages of notes I have put a calendar for November and December. That way I can write in party's, events with family etc.

Good luck and post your finished project for all of us to see! Here's to a less stressful Holiday!
