If your like me you will see something so cute in the store and think that will be perfect for so and so's stocking! Then you end up spending $30 on stocking stuffers! WOW!
Ideas to save on stocking stuffers!
~Samples and Freebies!
There are always tons of freebies and samples on the web. I suggest going directly to manufacturers sites or getting notifications of samples through sites you know you can trust. Be wary of viruses.
~Dollar Stores!
Check your local Dollar store for great deals! I LOVE the Dollar Tree for this! You can get some cute toys and goodies for a dollar or less if you get packs!
~Coupons!
Keep an eye out for great deals using coupons, sometimes if your good at this (something I am still working on) you can get some stuff really cheap or even FREE!
~The dollar spot at Target!
I LOVE the dollar spot at Target! It is right when you walk in the door and there are some great finds there! So next time check it out!
~Make them!
There are alot of little things you could make to put in there stockings! A crayon keeper (fabric with slots for crayons that rolls up ant ties together with ribbon), felt food, cloth dolls, little purses, handkerchief aprons. Anything you can think of that those you need to do stockings for will like that you can make and will fit in a stocking!
~Coupon Books!
So easy to make all you need is a computer and a printer! Just come up with "coupon" ideas for all those in your family! Like a back massage for you hubby, a treat for kids, dinner of your choice, no chores day etc etc!
Be creative and watch for sales! There is no need to blow your budget on stocking stuffers!
