Recipes!

jenplusfive posted she needs help with ideas for meal planning! They eat alot of beef and she wants to change it up a bit! So here are a few of my favorite recipes! I suggest trying one new recipe a week in your meal planning and you can add the ones you and your family like to you food list!

Honey Lemon Chicken4 chicken breast cubed
1c honey
1/4 c lemon

Fry chicken in a skillet until done and then place in a baking dish. Mix honey and Lemon and pour over chicken. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. We usually serve with rice.

Easy Meatloaf1lb ground beef
1 sleeve ritz crackers crushed
1 egg
1tsp celery salt
Ketchup

Mix ground beef, crackers, egg, and celery salt. Form into a loaf and smack out the air. Place in baking dish and cover with tinfoil. Bake at 450 for 45 minutes. Remove from oven take tinfoil off and cover with ketchup bake an additional 20-30 minutes until all pink is gone!

Dorito Chicken4 chicken breast
1 egg
4-6c doritos crushed

Beat egg slightly until yolk and whites are combined. Coat chicken in egg and then cover with doritos. Bake chicken at 350 for 35-40 minutes until chicken is done internal temp of 165 degrees.

Easy Chicken and Dumplings (My husbands recipe)
4 chicken breasts cubed
2 tubes of refrigerated biscuits (butter flavor works best)
2 cans of chicken broth (big)
1 can water
Seasoning salt
pepper
onion powder

Pour chicken broth into a stock pot and add cubed chicken. In the mean times take biscuits and roll into marble size balls. Cook broth until it is very hot but not boiling and add biscuits balls. Let cook about 10 minutes then add spices to taste. You will want to let it cook for about 20 minutes after you add biscuits. YUMMY!! It is really good the next day warmed up and this once can be frozen!

Easy baked noodles (Husbands recipe he just threw it together one day as we didn't have much in the house)
1 bag egg noodles cooked
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 sleeve ritz crackers
1c shredded cheddar
2c shredded cheddar

Mix cooked noodles, soup can, and 1c cheese then place in baking dish. Crush up crackers and cover top, then cover the crackers with 3c cheese. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Taco roll-ups1lb ground beef
one packet taco seasoning
1 onion chopped
2 can refrigerated crescent rolls
Shredded cheddar
sour cream and any other taco fixings you like

Cook ground beef and add taco seasoning. I like to use my pizza stone and I put the crescent around the pan with pints out, it looks like a crescent moon when done. Then cover the circle with the cooked ground beef and tuck the points under when done. Cover with Cheddar cheese and bake at 400 for about 10 minutes or until crescents are cooked. Serve topped with you favorite taco fixings!

NOTE: If you do not have a round pan you can jut put the ground beef in each crescents individually and bake that way like you would if you were just making the crescents.
